2. Who the website is for

The website is intended mainly for UK businesses, sole traders and professional users. It is not directed at children.

3. Information, not advice

Website content is general information only. It is not accounting, tax, legal, financial or other professional advice and should not be relied on as a substitute for advice about your circumstances. Tax and regulatory rules change, and we do not promise that all content will always be complete or current.

Any paid services are governed by a separate signed engagement letter. If these terms conflict with that engagement letter in relation to our services, the engagement letter takes priority. Any prices shown on the website are indicative unless we agree them with you in writing.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use the website unlawfully, introduce harmful material, attempt unauthorised access, damage or disable the website, or copy or scrape its content on a substantial or systematic basis without our written permission.

5. Intellectual property

We own, or are licensed to use, the intellectual property in the website. You may use limited extracts for internal business reference, but must not republish, sell or commercially exploit the content without our written permission.

6. Links and availability

Third-party links are provided for convenience; we do not control or endorse them. We may change, suspend or withdraw the website and do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or virus-free. You should use your own security protections.

7. Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for business losses arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the website or its general content, including loss of profit, revenue, business, anticipated savings, goodwill or data, or any indirect or consequential loss. This section does not change any liability agreed in a signed engagement letter.

8. Privacy, cookies and AI

Our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and AI Usage Statement explain how we use personal data, website technologies and external AI.

9. Changes and law

We may update these terms by publishing a revised version. These terms and any non-contractual dispute relating to the website are governed by the law of England and Wales. Business users submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
